coil and ground questions

I've been watching this topic for a while, and everyone recommends new coils and ground wires for better performance. I'm running the original coil and grounds and don't seem to have any problems, but I don't drive in an area where there is snow or salt. Should I replace them or just not fix things that ain't broke?

It doesn't hurt to undo the grounds and clean them off with a wire brush or cleaner. As for coil packs...they wear out. Mine are the stocks and I'm going to replace them eventually.

At the very least clean up your ground wires, this will save you time and money in the long run. When a ground wire goes bad its very hard to diagnose unless you've experienced it before. I don't know if a thicker gauge grounds would make any performance diff but not a bad idea something I might look into.
