any of you going to go see this movie this weekend?

it is a continuation of the show Firefly, that fox mismanaged and canceled.

if you like some good sci fi action adventure w/girls kicking ass go see this movie.

I liked the show, and I'd like to see the movie

Girls were definitely hot, and kicked ass!

You guys go and tell me how it is....then go see Flightplan and tell me how much it sucks arse!!

I saw flight plan. Yea, it sucked. It could have been so great tho. Kinda like how the forgotten could have been good also. Crazy women losing children seems to be a blockbuster premise with lack luster direction...

Serenity should be pretty darned good. Any Buffy/Angel fans should get a kick out of the "villans" who are on the crew of the ship. Also the actress who plays the ship's engineer is a fellow canuck. woo!

I just finished watching the marathon of Firefly on Sci-Fi and I can't wait to see Serenity when it opens in theatres.

the last two episodes they showed, out of gas and ariel, on the marathon are my favorites so far.

just finished the Firefly series on DVD last night.

man that was a good show. too bad it got canned by fox cuz it was just hitting its stride.

i am pretty excited to see this movie.

action, humor, danger, sadness, it had it all.

that good eh, i just might have to see it now.

i must say i wasnt really swayed by the trailers. just didnt stirke me as being able to be a good movie, just like anything with that fast and furious guy, but i am a sucker for good reviews.

the two movies im actualy looking forward to are good night and good luck, and domino.

it is that good.

some of the best space battles/chases if have seen in quite a while.

you have to keep in mind that this sucker has 1/3 the budget of most typical action sci fi movies. what they did was very amazing.

I'm going to check it out too. I was reading an article on the director. He did the buffy series and, as you know, the firefly series. He's written scripts for Hollywood for years. This is his big debut as a director.

Im going. Got hooked on firefly big time after borrowing the entire season on dvd from a freind (included the shows not aired. strongly suggest you watch thiese)

I saw it last night and holy crap I about pissed myself. It was great!!!!! It went right along with the series, history and all. Even if you haven't seen the show, it will interest you. I think that its a good ending (or intro to a continuation hopefully) to the series. Good short term character development for the firefly uneducated.
