2.5L heads on an ej22t ? would this be any better than stock

Yea, look at the thread legacymax posted... You can clearly see the valves and other things are smaller on the 2.2

2.5 L heads flow better, so couldn't hurt right?

A good while back I looked at a set of EJ22 heads and compared to some other choices they are really poor. The problem we run into is compression ratio. The chamber in the EJ22 head is quite small so if you want to swap on some WRX or STi heads you will run into some issues. I've broken my titration tube but soon as I get another I will cc each.

I have a set of STi v4 heads, EJ25 (NA single cam).

these are twin cams so will they bolt right on and will they lower my compression or raise it

Ej22 heads 40cc
DOHC Ej25 heads 47cc
SOHC Ej25 heads 49 cc
USDM WRX heads 45cc
Early EJ20G heads 57cc

V4 heads should be the same as DOHC EJ25 heads...

Read the sticky at the top about Xephyr's old set up. He does CR and give you a lot of into on running the DOHC Ej25 heads with Ej22t bottom end...
