That picture is a negative. Everything white turns to black on the neg. The edge of the fender has a reflection of the sun, resulting in a dark spot on neg. Look at them side by side, and you should be able to see that the hood is not "open". Why does it matter, anyway?Manarius wrote:I swear I replied to this but....

Why are we wondering about a gap in the hood? That car is getting the crap beat out of it. I bet it holds up better than most of the cars in that same race.
