Police scanner Subaru chase

Since the hurricane left us with no cable I am forced to find other ways to pass the time.
I was listening to the police scanner last night when a signal 12 (wreckless driver) call came thru. Turns out it was a street racing call only a few blocks from my house.
I hear one officer say, " I heard a couple loud engines but then I heard some loud turbos."
Then another officer says, "It's a blue Subaru and a black vette or Viper."
After a few minutes of chase the pursuing officers say, "we can not catch these vehicles."
A few minutes later I hear said turbo go flying down my street. I looked out the window and saw some sweet STi taillights.
Mental note: Find and make friends with STi owner.

Just make sure not to go on any drives with him.

The police will find it easier to catch your leggy than his STi.

I'd have to ride shotgun just so I could say...."You drive like you've done this before."

Just make sure there is no damage to his intake manifold and the floor board on the passenger side is there.

Yeah, you wouldn't want to blow the welds off the intake manifold. DANGER TO MANIFOLD!!!!

"SHUT UP" - (As I slam the lid on the laptop that would be in my lap.)
How do you lose the pass side floorboard anyways? Are Mitsu Eclipses built that shitty that they fly apart at high speeds?

Floorboard comes off to warn of danger to intake manifold.

Well
someone doesn't live their life a quarter mile at a time.
I don't either, but those movies are pretty funny.

This whole thread was funnier than hell. My wife was asking me what was so funny. She didn't get it though.

One of the things everybody knows is; its not how you stand by your car, its how you drive your car.
*obligatory Ja-rule quote* WHAT! *the end*

Straight from IMDB.com
Edwin: "It's not how you stand by your car, it's how you race your car."
Dom: I live my life a quarter mile at a time. Nothing else matters: not the mortgage, not the store, not my team and all their bullshit. For those ten seconds or less, I'm free.

How soon I forget.
What kind of time are you getting between stop lights?

Usually sub 5's, but the lights here are pretty close to each other.

hey, will a NOs fogger system and direct-port nitrous injection give me a ten second car, like it does in a FWD lime-green eclipse? Cause I definately need to top out at more than 140mph.
I just can't wait for the threesome action when I start winning street races

No it'll blow the welds on your intake manifold.
