Here's a news article about the new Camaro. I'm sure some of you may have already read about it.

That's the kind of car Jay Leno would buy.

If I had that kind of change, I would too, and it would sit in the driveway beside my heavily modded Subaru arsenal, hehe.

Even though I am a die hard subaru fan, I would kill for a Yenko Camaro. Those things were HOT! I actually got to see one at a car auction this summer. Mint with 12k origional miles goes for about $80K these days.

All that, and the best it can do is 10 seconds?

You're going to have to do something else to get yourself out of the hole, GM.

Its not a GM vehicle. It is not affiliated with GM at all as far as I could read.

no thanks. saw it in person. still no thanks.

ya know how rallyart has built the fq400 evo in the uk, well theres a company pumping out 70, 750whp mustangs, the new ones, for 150k and they come with a warntee (sp) they will do 10s as well and are completly street legal. for an extra 20k you can get the 1200whp model, no warntee but it will do 8's and not quite be street legal. id much rather take one of thoes instead... and i hate mustangs

I can't believe the market there is for these uninspired custom cars. All the shows on TV and everything - a lot of money and craftsmanship for what? Oh, boy a '32 Ford, a Mustang, whatever. Yeah, they're nice, but it's all been done to death. Where are the guys to build real custom shit. I understand the high prices due to high overhead, rare craftsmanship involved, and limited quantities, but if people want to pay big money for customs get something NOBODY has. Even some of the 'new' ideas I see come into vogue I've had more than ten years ago. Give me the shop and the people to build it and I'll knock guys on their ass.
