I have been doing some searchs, and I am now thouroughly confused. I have a 1991 legacy turbo, AWD. I think my chassis is BC but is it BC5,BC6, etc...?

Does anyone know exactly how subaru's classifications work? Or can I look on my VIN number to get the correct chassis code? TIA!

drivers side of the engine bay will be a 1x3 metal plaque. It will have paint code, engine code, and chassis code.

It's also in the VIN, along with production number for your year.
