I just want to be sure: Subaru AWD splits power 50/50 in a manual and varies based on wheel slippage. It is entirely mechanical. Autos split 90/10 in normal driving conditions, and varies it electronically as needed.

Is this right? Does this apply to our cars as well as new Subarus?

This applies to all manuals.....you are right 50/50

The 90/10 split is correct for all the older auto trannies. The new auto trannies, the VTD have 45/55 torque split.
