Who has installed it?
Douglas Vincent
What have you installed it in?
1990 Legacy Wagon
What modifications is it running
Supercharged 2.2.
370 cc injectors (versus 270 cc)
Fuel psi is 45 at idle and 65 on boost
JEC MAF versus stock aluminium maf
What does it help?
Timing for sure. Am pulling ALOT of timing up top
Adding alot of fuel up top too.
Pulling ALOT of fuel down low because of high fuel pressure and JEC MAF.
What are the SMT6 problems?
The bizarre miss/buck hesistation down low. Still havent figured it out.
Would you install it again?
Yes.......maybe....... I got a good deal on it. But if I can't figure out this damn miss/buck, then I am getting a bit pissed. Certainly couldnt track or rallycross it. Dragracing isnt a problem, because I am never in the low rpms.
Edit......
I did a major grounding upgrade, and the miss buck is gone, I hope. Wagon ran 100% today, finally.

What have you installed it in?
1995 Impreza w/1993 Ej22t
What modifications is it running:
Delta stage 1 camshaft
"optimized" throttle body
Honed/ powder coated intake manifold
3" Stromung catless turbo back exhaust
Parrallel fuel mod
Walbro fuel pump
td04 turbo-ported/polished, coated
Mug mod
Perrin electronic boost controller
K&n Panel Filter
WRX intercooler w/aluminum STi "y" pipe
370cc injectors
What does it help?
It helps fueling, so far when it wants to, however I did just find a small vaccum leak
The extra injector thing runs my boost controller, but I cant turn up the boost yet becasue of my problems
What are the SMT6 problems?
The bizarre miss/buck hesistation down low. Still havent figured it out.-straight from dougs mouth and seconded!
Cant watch datalogs unless I am conected to the unit
Would you install it again?

I agree. I swapped this motor in because I wanted torque for auto/rally cross. I have learned to drive "around" the buck, butI am getting sick of it because at most I get to drive is like 6/10ths which is no fun since I have the suspension dialed fairly well.
If we get the problems fixed- yes would do again. If we dont figure something out quick---Emanage here i come!!!

Me....but I don't have time to fill in all the stuff.
It's ok...I haven't really tweaked things with it yet. We'll find out how well it works in the next month or so.
