You should check the battery voltage with a voltmeter after running the headlights for a minute or so.
Are the battery terminals securely attached? Are the battery cables securely attached to the starter (positive) and to the bracket by the starter (negative)? It might be worth disconnecting them (especially the negative one) and checking that it's bolted to clean metal.
Does the engine turn over easily if you use a wrench on the crank pulley bolt?

We would love to know what the problem was.

Turns out the problem was the smaller wire that connects to the starter. Its the remote start wire or something.

Its the wire that travels from the ecu to tell the starter to start turning the engine over. All I had to do was detach it and bend the little female clip so that it would make better contact with the male connector on the starter.
Easy fix! I am very happy it was something simple and nothing serious.

It actually comes from the ignition switch. It's what powers the coil of the solenoid. There is a wire that goes to the ECU from the circuit too, but that's just so the ECU knows when the engine's cranking.
I'm glad it was something so simple. You may want to put some dielectric grease in the connection there to stave off corrosion.
How come you didn't just post how you'd fixed it?
