im going to try putting my greddy e-manage 3bar turbo map sensor in place of my factory 2bar map sensor, i am hopeing that it lets the fuel cut go way past 13psi.

You can't just drop it in there in place of the stock sensor; the signal won't be right.

Build Vikash's fuel cut defender. I think it would work out much better than confusing the ECU with a 3bar MAP sensor.

I think the biggest problem would be a hiccup due to your ECU trying to switch and read atmospheric pressure when you're nowhere near that in the manifold. I'm just talking out my ass again though, no personal experience with this one.

Even if you got the signal to work from the 3 bar, the ECU is still set to fuel cut at 11 psi or whatever, so it would still cut at the same pressure...

ok wow i have some good news and bad news.

ok so i put the greddy map sensor in the place of the factory one same factory set up even the wire coulours are the same.

i start the car and drive it, the car runs and i hit the boost at 16psi and it worked right to red line on every gear with no boost cut, it even made my lm1 afr run crazy rich 10.00afr hard.

bad news then i go home stop the car to tell my dad i am the smartest person in the world, i jump back in my car run it agian and it didnt work, jurks like crazy so i had to put my factory one back in.

what the hell it worked then it didnt work pissed me off.

i dont no guys it worked and then it didnt work,

i built vrg3 fcd i had one for a year best thing in my car for fcd, but then it blew up thats why i am trying all this stuff out + i made 3 other vgr3 fcd and they wont work, maybe i am burnning my chips or the guy gave me wrong parts.

Why not just spend the $100 on an HKS fcd? It will save you the trouble of trying all those methods of avoiding boost cut, I have one for my car, works fine.

sorry for postting all this crazy stuff guys.

Imprezive i had a hks greddy turbo smart and my own ball and spring think, they all change psi and do wierd things to my car, then i made vrg3 fcd and it just got rid of the cut thats it, it did not change nothing at all.

anyways sorry guys for postting crazy stupid shit but i get mad one something goes wrong and post like a mad man.

Nico, I can completely relate. That kind of crap happens to me all the time, and I've got that hereditary Italian temper so it usually messes my concentration up for a while.

And why spend the $100 on an HKS FCD when with a little time, effort, and a few bucks you can have the VRG Mk II FCD in all it's glory?

As a mattafact, why not just manufacture the VRG Mk II FCD in all it's glory and sell them all day for $100 a pop? Hmm...
