Fuel pump relay kill switch

Yo.

The fuel pump relay above and completely occluded by the ECU (with the green wire) can indeed be wired into a simple kill switch. It's not very fun to locate; it was easy enough to find the green wire and follow it to a dark corner, and pulling on it will cause a release, but man when we tried to get back up in there and plug it back in we took some neck damage :)

Eventually attacked the clip holding the relay with a screwdriver until it fell, and the relay was freed. Plugged the connector back in and tested the switch, perfect operation. Epoxied it sideways in a little crevasse on the passenger side, not in plain sight, not very easy to find accidentally with a finger.

I'd have taken photos, but we were pretty much working blind as it was, nothing to take photos of... and the end result is not visible either.

Just be sure to bring your toolbox with the expletives inside if your goal is to find the fuel pump relay.

Edit: Found the link that helped me locate the relay; because without this diagaram, we would have given up and assumed it was elsewhere because of how hidden it is:

Good idea; I was mainly posting this because I wasn having quite a time finding the relay visually and a direct search for "fuel pump kill switch" didn't land me what I thought it would. I wanted to make a post that would result from such a search.
