A co-worker is ebaying for Volvo car stereo (radio + CD player); since he is not sure about frequency range on US models i need your help...
On European models frequency range is between 87.5 -108 MHz FM; step = 0,05 MHz
Will US model work in Europe?

Our stereos tune from 87.5 to 107.9 MHz FM with a 200 kHz step.
You guys really tune down to 0.05 MHz steps? I thought it was 100 kHz (0.1 MHz).
Some radios sold here do 100 kHz steps because they were designed for multiple markets. It seems possible that a Volvo radio would do that.

I've only ever seen odd frequencies used in radio stations here, and most radios I've seen skip the evens...
Do you guys have radio stations that close together? I mean, 101.1 and 101.2 would probably bleed together quite a bit if there were signals on both.

Mostly stations are not close enough to disturb other;
except when driving in Italy... they're mad... one station disturbs other...
Here stations use both - even and odd frequencies; like 105.1, 102.4, 106.4,... but car radios have step in 0,05 MHz
