For those who didn't know, I had a 2000 Honda Shadow Aero VT1100C3 for over a year and a half. I just sold it on Friday, for a number of reasons, but it was sad to see it go.

That is a nice bike.
I still play arround with the idea of getting a bike. If I do it will most likely be a nice riding bike like this instead of a crotch rocket.

Nice looking bike. I didn't realize that's what a Honda Shadow is.

In the mid-90s, the Shadow became a cruiser bike. The ACE, or American Classic Edition, was one of the first Japanese bikes to really emulate the look and sound of HD. The Aero pays tribute to the old Indians in a lot of ways, which is why I liked it.
One of the unique things that Honda did was make a v-twin with a single crankpin, which is exactly like what HD has been doing for years. They had to change a few things, because HD got upset at them copying everything, but with those drag pipss, it was a very aggressive HD sound.

Cool, so it's even got the weird loping firing order. It does have a more restrained, slightly more modern Indian Chief look. Love the colors.
