Need help from anyone in the PNW

Is anybody, or does anybody know anyone who's law enforcement, government, lawyer, etc in the PNW, (seattle area)

I'll keep it short, since I don't have all the details, but my brother, who lives in the Mt. Lake Terrace area is being ram-rodded by the cops on some dumpster fires. They for the most part asked/coaxed an apt maintenance guy to go into his apt. and look for stuff. (no warrant, nothing...illegal search IMO)

My mom's hoping that if she calls the detective and makes it aware that the family is standing behind my brother, maybe he'll back down....otherwise, we may need a lawyer, or if someone knows somebody that can make some calls or suggestions, I'd appreciate any help.

If you can help, please email me, rather then posting on the board.

Thanks!!

His time/place alibis checked out? He didn't maybe have priors involving fires, that made him get looked at, did he? (Hopefully the police can't do that)
Glad its all gully. :)

The can't legally enter his apartment without a warrant or PC( as in place is on fire, or someone screaming inside, etc etc). Just getting the Manager to let them in pretty much removes any chance of them using ANYTHING they found in court. So even if he was guilty, he is free and clear.

I would also suggest he chat with the apartment manager and voice his concerns that they let the police in without a warrant and that is illegal.

Yeah, he's going to talk to the apt. manager.

My mom still has some concerns.......our ex step brother (really weird story) lives with my brother on occasion, and he's been involved with some interesting people, so my mom questions if the arsen thing was just a ploy to check things out.....but I don't know.

Either way, what the apt maintenance guy did was totally illegal, and depending on the response of the apt manager, my brother may look at getting legal council.
