well its gonna be play with the car weekend. i finaly got. not only, as weekend off, but also a three day weekend so im doing projects with the car that have been stacking up.

De-yellowing my headlights, replacing turn signal light bulbs. repainting parts with flaking paint etcetra.

a while back my Cruise control stopped working. just stopped.
The light on the switch comes on when it is depressed but other wise it acts like its not receiving power. no cruise. no accel. nadda.

all my fuses seem to be in order (ive checked them all for sundry reasons)

Any ideas where I should start looking for problems?

are your brake lights working?

and shifting out of park is normal right?


similiar thing happened to me, but it was a whole mess of things at once

Breaklights and shifting all normal.

Check the vacuum tubing from the cruise pump to the actuator maybe?

heh... that would make more sence than electrical. I think I was messing around with the timing about the time it quit working so I might have banged it loose while stumbling around the engine compartment.

Ill check tomorrow and let you know.
