Got them from a guy on NASIOC. They've got about 15k miles on them.

I will get the balanced & blue-printed when I'm ready for them. But I compared the 92-94 n/a injector next to them, and yeah they should fit just fine into the 92-94 rails.

Only odd thing/difference is where the fuel enters the injector. I'm not sure if the spot on the sti injectors is more optimal, and/or if our rails will affect the fuel flow.

Here's some pics

They redesigned the injector body somewhere along the line. The shape of the STi injector was also used late in the red-top series. I don't remember why, but it may have had to do with clogging resistance or cooling or somesuch.

Is there any function to the yellow tops being longer? Is that what you mean by redesign?

Well, I was referring to the fuel inlet screen's relocation.

But, yes, the length and construction of the very tip was also redesigned somewhere along the line (earlier than the screen relocation). I seem to remember it having something to do with the new tip design providing better atomization; they used that tip design in California before the rest of the states and Canada.

I have been running those injectors on my 22t for like 2 months, well till i popped two pistons, but they woked great. What are these going to be good for as far as turbo sizing and boost pressure? I am looking at running 15-17psi from a vf29? will 550's be enough?
