rs seats
front and rear seats from a 2001 rs will bolt into a 92 legacy corect?
Yup, I did 00-01 RS Coupe seats into my 93 TW.
They will sit higher, and if you have anything mounted under the seats for audio, it might not clear because the seats are also thicker (for some reason). The seatbelts are another issue, but you probably have manual belts anyway. Nothing a trip to a hardware store can't resolve.

If you insist on leather, then sure. I think I got mine for less than $200 4 years ago from a friend who went with some Sparcos.
WRX seats also fit, and you should be able to get some of them cheap as well.

I got both my fronts for $100.
They feel SO much better than my slowly breaking-down SS seats (one of which is now my video gaming seat in my room)......

I have black leather, wear shorts often, and am in Utah where it gets rather warm this time of year (95+).
The trick that no one seems to understand about cars is that you can almost always park in a way that keeps the sun off the driver seat. If you go to work and have tinted windows, simply park facing north or east and your car will be much cooler in the afternoon/evening than if your car was facing south or west.
Impreza cloth seats should be out there, it just takes some looking.
