Yes its true, I'm giving up the Legacy Turbo. I know what your
thinking, I must be crazy or something.
I made the mistake of not getting the car inspected before I bought
it, I just gave it my own inspection. Other than the coolant problem
which is fixed, it needs new rear brakes, front pads, right front cv
joint, rear tires, exhaust is leaking and whatever else I haven't
found yet. Also the car was poorly maintained by the previous owner,
i
can tell by the thick grease that the pressure washer missed when the
engine was cleaned and the complete mess in the trunk. Oh ya and the
engine seems to have a bit of a miss in it too. I should have noticed
this before, but when i saw the car i feel in love with it and just
had to have it. I figured it would need about $1500CND at least to
fix
it up to get it certified and thats money I don't have,
unfortunetly:(.
So I'm sending it back tomorrow and getting my Honda Accord back and
my $700 i also put down on it. I just can't afford to repair this car
with the $15,000 loan I still owe and the low paying job I have. At
least I can say I got to drive a Legacy Turbo and maybe one day in
the
soon future when I'm getting paid the big bucks flying planes, haha,
I
can buy a nice Impreza RS or WRX(if they bring them to Canada) and
modify the s**t out of it.
Till then all I can do is dream.
Just thought I'd let all you know whats going on and if any of you
are
interested in the car I can give you the phone number of the dealer
in
Ottawa.
Thanks ppl:)
