ej22t swap not starting

It turns over fine, but doesn't seem to have any spark. I checked the coil and its not putting out any spark. On the 3 wires to the plug, only the middle is getting power.
Just for some background on the wiring.
I got all the boost things off the legacy harness plus the knock sensor and 2 other plugs by the knock sensor. Then I got the wiring for the 3 plugs by the battery(the rest on the engine sensors). I took all that and jammed it thru the hole in the firewall for th AC.
All those things were still connected to the ecu plugs. Everything else was cut and spliced into the wiring at the ej18 ECU. The only things on the legacy ecu that are left disconnected are the 2 select monitors, TI monitor and park wire.
I connected all the grounds to a ground wire in the ej18 wiring and same with the power.
The only odd thing I did was 2 wires from the MAF that go to the plug at the back middle of the engine bay by the trans tilt mount. For that all I did was splice them into the ej18 wiring at that part since they are identical parts on both cars.
All the ej18 wiring is still in the car. anything not being used in the engine bay or at the ecu is simply taped up.
I thought it would work, but i guess not. I should have known it was too amazingly simple to work.
CEL comes on which i guess is supposed to mean the ECU is getting power.
All the lights, radio, fans work. I haven't check all the sensors, but every one that I have checked is getting power and is grounded. and since I wired the powers and grounds are in big groups, if one is grounded the whole group should be.
Any ideas?

thats the chart for the ecu pinouts that I used.
I didn't really use the wiring diagrams. i have them though.
