Im going to be pulling my engine sometime next week, Im gonna start working on it right away.

Theres some stuff I want to do wtih the block still together and I was thinking about this for a tabletop engine stand, keep in mind I dont have a shop or a lot of space.

Ive got the bellhousing from the 4EAT I blew with the bad crown it in. I was gonna gut it, weld on a couple legs, and bolt the engine to it.

Is there any reason this would be dangerous?

haha actually that is a awesome idea. it would be a perfect stand. you just need to make sure its correctly balanced, or the the legs that you weld on will be placed right. sounds like a good idea tho. i want pics when your done with it..... also if you can rig it up so that it can spin that would kick ass too. plus make your life a million times easier

yeah and make locks so you can keep it in a certain position, make sure the legs stick out front far enough that it doesnt tip over
