outside dimentions on a 2.2 liter Longblock

talking on going an picking up a longblock to rebuild for The Lemming. Its no longer capable of making the trip on its own so my friend sugested we take his car.
Problem is his car has kinda a narrow trunk lid. (late 90s chevrolet cavalier or some such)
anyone know what the outside messurments are on a long block? (Mainly worried about bellhousing heigth)
