WRX Struts?

I just acquied a 1990 Legacy LS (AWD) and curious if WRX struts and springs will fit. I'm mostly concerned about the struts though as this thing has NO dampening at all right now  It's got 189k miles and by the feel of the suspension, I bet the struts have never been changed.

I've still got to purchase the struts (I can get them for about 120 shipped w/very low miles) and I've already got two sets of springs I can choose from. Booth are from my WRX, one is stock and the others are -1.5"/-1.3" lowering springs. They're just taking up space in my garage right now.

You will need your old tophats for the rear...but the WRX hats will work in front...and other than that they are a direct fit

the rear springs are different also. the legacy has a tapered spring were the WRX are regular barrel

So what do you guys suggest for the rear? Struts will work but the springs will not. Keeping in mind that this is a thrid car and and not supposed to be my daily driver, should I just install the WRX struts and leave the Legacy springs on?

actually not quite

When you get them to fit there is also a problem with the camber because the WRX has a wider track. Unless you want to use camber bolts or plates to fix it I would suggest getting something Legacy or 93-01 Impreza specfic.
