Quick compatibility check on my car before I order springs.
I have a 91 SS.
Have ordered new gN tophats.
Front: #B0310FE000
Rear: #ST2032044140
Rubber Upper Seat
Upper Spring Seat
So that should convert to GC (93-01) style impreza. right?
So I was going to order:
HnR sports, 01 impreza (#29472-1)
and either
Koni Yellows or KYB AGX (for 01 impreza)
Will this work or did I miss something?

I picked up Group N tops, and AGX/H&R's for the Legacy Turbo. So they make them for the 92-94's

You'll also need upper spring perches in the rear and possibly up front. Also those rubber boots that go between the spring and the perch.
What you may want to do is buy a cheap set of 93-01 take-offs from rs25.com or something then you'll have everything you need. You could probably get a few bucks for the springs, plus if you go with the konis you can put the assemblies together and they just swap them onto the car complete.

I agree with jamal. Rule of thumb for a compatible suspension is to use struts and springs intended to fit together. So, get the H&R Impreza springs, if thats what you are in to, put Koni inserts (for Impreza) into RS2.5 stock strut bodies. Again, jamal hit the nail on the head as far as getting a complete take off set. High miles is fine, and you can pick them up cheap or free. Having the whole set gives you the ability to take the struts apart, clean them up and paint them, install the Konis, and have all the necessary parts to assemble them- all while your car is still drivable. Plus, if the ones you buy are assembled, that pretty much means that all the parts you'll need are present and accounted for.
You're on the right track with the Gp. N mounts, consider getting the fronts, while you're at it. You will end up with a significant drop in ride height with the H&R Impreza springs, I think. I think a few people around here have used them and liked the results.

The rear spring perches is all you need. Fronts are the same. My '91 had the H&R/AGX setup and I liked the stance and performance.
