driving home tonight, and the sucker came off from the shoulder and was running straight towards me (probably saw my driving lights and was blinded wacko). Anyways, it tore loose my lower bumper damn, which was already ziptied because it was cracked a few years ago. everyonce in a while i manage to break the zip ties and have to redo it.

have been looking for a good used bumper, but things like this and I guess this is the "Beater" bumper.

It was dark when it happened, but the way it thumped the bumper, and the fact I could feal it hit my floorpan, and heard and felt it hit the rear as I was going over it, I am sure its dead.

He was a big one, probably about 35-40 pounds.

Woah that's a big one. Damn near a small dog or something. Too bad it took out your bumper. I wouldn't be surprised if it was still alive though - they can be pretty tough. Hell - I just read about a freaking duck living after being shot and put in a refridgerator for two days.
