Hi all!

I just recently purchased a 91 Leg Sport. Last night the alternator died...

My question is are alternators interchangeable between the EJ motors?

I have line of sight to an alternator from an Impreza...

Depends on the year. Most of the newer alternators went with a different style plug & had the main terminal shifted slightly.

I have a WRX alt on my 93 right now. For whatever reason my buddy had a GM TPS connector in his trunk that fits the 3-wire connection perfectly. Pictures are here
