well we had an ice storm here and ever since that night my car has basically no boost control. Heres what happens, I drive and the boost just goes up until it hits fuel cut. I thought at first that the waste gate actuator was frozen but I was able to move it freely. On this setup, which was on the car when I bought it, the actuator is simply fed to the compressor outlet nipple. The line is there and intact. I guess the actuator is bad. Is this possible?

ok I lied,

I actually looked at the hose connectingf the compressor to the wastegate and it was torn due to it rubbing up against the hokey inlet piping setup. so its already fixed! thanks anyway!
