im reading that some newer struts are lifting our 90's legacys... my question is what ones would be the best to use if my plan was to lift my '92 touring wagon?? :P
(legacy outback struts???) im trying to keep the lift in the suspension only... ;-)

AWESOME!!! so i would still have to use my strut tops rite?? my plan was to get a ground control kit. . . so im hoping the forester struts are the ones to run with ground control coilover springs. . . maybe i can find some springs similar to ground control only taller. . i hoping for 3 or 4 inch lift without using blocks. .
thanks for the help guys!!

Forester suspension on an impreza (GF model) nets ~ 4 to 5 inches of lift if I remember correctly.
Why would you use ground control springs? They are shorter than stock?

the lift blocks are usually set up to give you more ground clearance and retain a decent axle angle. i too hate the idea of lift blocks on anything though.

You can get gc springs in whatever length and rate you want.

Ok, so you are just looking for a narrow spring. I thought you were looking for one of those coilover sleeve things.
