SYMS spoiler for the BE

I found one of these, new, completely by accident when visiting the SPO Motorsports page and looking at the specials page. I'd seen one on a BE at SEMA in 2000, but had completely forgotten about it. Thankfully pictures are worth a thousand memories, or something:

I just received it on Friday and haven't even opened it yet. I need to get my digicam and snap some. I'm excited. I don't really like the wingless look, though the BE is pretty sexy without, but this will be a very, very nice compromise between wingless and a "hoop" spoiler.

Also, it's a SYMS part. How cool is that?

SYMS FTW.

Now you need to do a Turbo Swap!

That's how it installs!? It's that easy!? No drill install! Woo!

Seriously. EJ257 block, EJ205 heads, FP18G, External Wastegate, UTEC, 400lb-ft at 3600RPM.

Holy shit that looks hot. I am liking white on gold more and more every time I see it.

I love that generation.

Thanks.

I thought I might not like the spoiler as much after being wingless for so long, but I think it does add some character, in a good way.

You should donate your car to Matt Monson, I couldn't imagine how hot it would be if your car was making 350whp. Talk about bitchin.

I'd love to take a blank check to the motor and drivetrain of your car.

PPG 1-4 helical synchro box w/ Helical front diff, EJ257 block, EJ205 heads, WRX engine harness and ECU, FP18g, fuel pump, UTEC, 800cc injectors, TXS-FMIC (which bumper do you have? You'd need a SYMS bumper ;). We'd have to paint it black for the stealth), TXS turboback with the quiet Magnaflow 2.5" muffler.

That's good for 330whp and 370lb-ft without really breaking a sweat on 93 octane. It also makes over 300lb-ft between 2900 and redline.

No one would know what hit them.

It could be pretty monstrous, that's for sure.

I'm surprisingly content with it being maybe 200CHP @ sea level, getting high 20s for gas mileage, and sounding a bit unlike anything else on the road.
