Yet Another Five Speed Swap

Due to some interferance between the steering column support and the clutch pedal assembly I ended up pulling the dash. The interferance is taken care of now, but I figure as long as the dash is out I'm gonna add the 3rd and 4th igition channel wires.

I also figured it would be a good time to convert the harness to a 5-speed harness. I carefully removed every auto trans related wire by unwrapping the harness, tracing and removing the wires and rewrapping the harness. I actually converted the 12 and 16 pin auto trans connectors to the 4 pin Manual connector.

I can tell you, it's not worth it. Just follow Josh's(?) write up. Install the jumpers at the trans connectors. Tie up the loose connectors from the Trans ECM and shift lock controller. Be done with it. I was thinking I'd save a few pounds....nope. Maybe about a pound of wire. Simply removing the components was by far the most weight.

So, in addition to the 2 extra ignition channels (for a future EJ20G w/EM), what else should I plan for in the harness? I assume running the intercooler pump wiring is only good if I get an actual Legacy/Liberty ECU?
