Are rear fogs legal in the US?

This is probably a stupid question to most of you, but I need to know.

most likely. check the vehicle code at your state dmv website.

The tricky part would be wiring it to work right.

Ok, cool. I've never wired anything besides a few speakers so I'll cross that bridge when/ if I get there.

I have rear fogs, they are wired to my DRL.

I believe so because I was behind some sort of toyota corrola/ honda civic shaped car and it had insanely bright fog lights in the rear.

yes def legal in foggy conditions since many euro cars have them in the states. i got them on my93 leggy. nothing makes me more mad see dumb arses drivin on a clear night with them on! i pull up to a light and tell them they have there rear fog lights on ans they are blinding me and they are like whats that? i dont have rear fog lights!
