The car has a few flaws but is overall in decent shape. It is 100% stock except for the boost gauge I installed underneath the stereo. The motor has seen only full synthethic for its 115k miles. Recently I have replaced the plugs and wires, MAF and alternator. I also replaced the clutch at about 95k miles. The tires (Yokohama Avids) are also practicly new. The interior is decent. The sunroof leaks like all the cars of this age, I believe it is because the black sealant around the track is too dried up to seal anything. As long as I park it facing up hill all the water runs out the weap tubes. There is rust but it is minor 1 spot inside the rear passenger door, and another underneath that dreadful auto up/down antenna. it does need to be taken care of soon however before it gets serious. Also when I bought the car the jerks I bought it from hit something with it right behind the passenger side rear wheel, between the time I gave them a deposit and when I picked up the car. I did a home made fix to stop the dent from rusting but the paint does not match. Overall, the paint is shiny but has some flaws. My wife drove this car for quite awhile, and I wanted to make it my rally cross and autocross car, but now it needs to go. I really want to see it go to someone who will treat it right. I will be posting pictures as soon as I get a cable to down load them of the camera. I am in maryland about 45 min west of baltimore. If you have any questions I will do my best answer them honestly.

I guess the first question (since I see you have a US location) is what side of the car is the steering wheel on? Cuz, see, AFAIK, we never got the RS in the states. What is this car really? I would hazard to guess the mystery here is why you have a fair number of views, but no replies...

I'm with Matt. If the wheel is on the right, dang.

i think this is one of several cars, where people have put the sticker "RS Turbo" on the front fenders above the side marker lights. I have seen a few cars with that sticker, so that might be the issue???

sorry. I was confused about the RS designation. The post will be updated. The car is left hand drive and is a turbo sedan.

the car is still for sale. If there is anything anyone is terribly worried about as fas as the condition of the car is concerned, I would consider fixing the mechanical concerns before i sold it.

I can't tell from the pictures..where's the mismatching paint? And does the A/C work well? How about the tires..do all 4 match and are the same tread? Do all the power windows work correctly? Does the sunroof open and shut without help? Basically...I'm kind of asking if everything works the way it should. I can understand if like the fuel gauge doesn't work, but I'd be concerned if there was something seriously up like a tapping lifter or overheating or the severity of this jerking....

You can see the mismatched paint in the second picture of the first slide show link i posted. here is the link again
The A/C works and blows very cold.
The tires match and are practically new yokohamas. i would say they have less than 5k miles on them.
the sunroof windows and power door locks all work great. basically the car is in good shape i listed all the flaws i could find so that no one would be disapointeed about the car. I tried to be very thorough, but i did not mean to make the car seem to be in bad shape. it is not, this is a great car that is in good shape it could certainly be used as a daily driver right now.

There is no "jerking" issue. i mentioned in my first , post "the jerks i bought it from" but i was not talking about the car, I was speaking about the previous owners.

The car did have an ignition problem that was hard to diagnose and i beleive i posted about it and I may have said the car jerked or hesitated. This problem is fixed 100%. there is no jerking issue[/url]

All right. I read it wrong. I'm slow sometimes :P I read that there was a "jerk" to the car not the "jerks" you bought it from. That's what I get for reading too fast (shame on me)

I was just asking to see what all was up with it. You did make it seem like it had some rust issues, but looking at the pictures they aren't nearly as serious as the ones I have on my car :D

I figured that all that stuff was all right, I just had to ask to make sure.

This looks like a great car, and from how you describe it, it seems like a great car.

no problem, reading back over it, that part of the post is not terribly clear. I was worried that you had looked up some of my history on the board and were worried about problems the car had in the past.
