EJ20G vs. EJ22T Cam & Crank Sensor Question

Does the EJ20G use the same Cam & Crank sensors as the EJ22T?
We've got the following Crank sensor connected to the EJ20G ECU in our swap:

DENSO 22053AA010
2 wires: red, yellow

And this is the Cam sensor that we're using:
3 wires: red, white, black
Image

Are the above sensors the right ones to use on the EJ20G with the EJ20G ECU, or should we use the newer-style Impreza ones:
New-age Crank Sensor (2 wires, plug right on sensor):

New-age Cam Sensor (2 wires, plug right on sensor):

Last, but not least, how can we measure if the crank and cam sensors are sending out the right signal? We're suspecting that one of them cam/crank sensors that we're using in our EJ20G swap is loosing signal over ~3000rpm and it's causing the engine to cut-out at that rev-range.

Thanks,
P.

A legacy Ej20G would use the same style sensors are your Ej22t. A WRX Ej20G would use the new style sensors...

We've got a JDM Legacy EJ20G and we're trying to get it running with a JDM WRX EJ20G ECU. I guess we'll swap in the new-age cam and crank sensors next.

Thanks,

I'm using the ej22t crank & cam sensors (stock LSS ECU) on the EJ20G I put in my LSS and it runs well, I just matched the sensors to the ECU.

BXSS, which ECU are you running?
Which ignition setup? (wasted spark EJ22T, or the 4-coil ignition from the EJ20G)?

Thanks,
P.

From the ej22t I'm using
1. Stock ECU & wiring
2. MAF
3. Cam/Crk sensors
4. Coilpack/ignitor
5. Exhange soleniod/MAP sensor asbly
6. coolant x-over pipe with coolant temp sensors under intake manifold
7. All accs ( A/C comp, alt, p/s pump)
8. C-canister purge solenoid

From the EJ20G I used
1. TPS
2. AIC
3. injectors

I did not even have to cut the AIC harness to extend it.
I just removed the wire loom undid the tape that covered the AIC, Coilpack, & TPS wires & taped the wires for each sensor individually which allows everything to be plugged in w/o any splices.
I'm using an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to trim fuel (lower than stock base fuel pressure).

I basically copied livestrong14's set-up, improvising missing/fuzzy details as I went along with my swap.

It was super easy, but for some reason my FMIC piping would not fit with the EJ20G in place so I had to re-do all the tubing in the engine bay.

It runs well!
