Hi, I have a Whiteline 22mm Rear Sway bar that I bought on ebay about six months ago, and we, (my mechanic and I) tried to install it the other day, and it doesnt fit. Is this the right size or not. The auction stated that it would fit my 94 Touring Wagon. What size do I need if its not the right size, or could or should I replace the sway bar links as well. Thanks for any info you guys can provide.

Do you know the part number?
The right parts for our cars are:

droplinks (90-92):
BSR17 - 18mm
BSR17X - 20mm
BSR17XZ - 20mm adjustable

C endlinks (92-94):
BSR19 - 18mm
BSR19X - 20mm
BSR19Z - 18mm adjustable
BSR19XZ - 20mm adjustable (I think 18-22mm)
BSR19XXZ- 22mm adjustable (20-24?)

What about it doesn't fit? If it's too wide you have an 04+ STi bar, if it doesn't clear the spare tire well you have an Impreza bar.

Its a tight fit at best under the spare wheel, but more importantly the ends of the bar dont reach down far enough to meet the link and bolt. I have the receipt with the part number on it, I dont remember, I will get it and post it asap.

is the car up in the air with the suspension at full droop?

put the wheels on the ground or on ramps or something.

It seems you have a 90-91 rear swaybar, which uses a different style of endlink. I had always heard that they were probably interchangeable, but maybe that's not the case.

Can you take a picture?

I am pretty darn sure they are interchangeable.

My '91 bar has bends so it just clears the spare tire well, not like what he is describing.

my thought is that it has to be rotated down farther to reach the endlinks because c-links are shorter (?), and is hitting the spare tire well. He says he has BSR17, which is a 90-92 bar.
