What do you all think of them? I am looking at getting a GT32r rotated mount twinscroll in the future.... anybody care to share their opinions?

Its sooo much fab work. I cant remember, do our oil pans clear the twinscroll setup? I think it has the "dent". It would be cool, But I dont see the point in all the extra effort for a few hundred more rpms in boost...unless youre draggin it.

Our oilpans do not clear the factory Subaru twinscroll setup...
Honestly Devan, you would have to get a header custom fabbed...and after assisting in building a stainless twin scroll header and seeing all the work that goes into it...it's just not worth it...
And...a GT32 isn't really big enough to really need a twinscroll setup...so just look at getting one without the divided hotside

i have two that im thinkin of. . ether the parrin gt35r or gp-moto gt32r kit.
one has internal waste gate and the other is external. one kicks in around 4k and the other is almost below 3k. eh, sucks makeing choices like this.

The twin scroll will only give you something over a standard housing if you isolate the left bank primary header tubes into one opening of the turbine housing and the right bank into the other. Otherwise, you defeat the purpose of the twin scroll. This is not any easy task with the uppipes the way they are on our subies. If you run the twin scroll without this, it will just act as a regular turbo. At least knife-edge the divider if you go that route.
OR- You could make a larger diameter uppipe and slice it down the center and weld it back together with a divider inside that runs the length of the pipe. This will have to match up to the collector and to the turbine inlet.
sounds like a pain in the arse...
PS: the turbo boost range is not a direct calculation of engine RPM. The same turbo will make boost at different RPM's on a different engine. Engine load and cam selection are key factors in the boost range of any turbo setup.

I believe I said a few hundred rpms more IN boost. not psi of boost. Read correctly, fool.

Are you calling me a fool? I didn't think so.
Anyway, I was responding to this quote:
"one has internal waste gate and the other is external. one kicks in around 4k and the other is almost below 3k. eh, sucks makeing choices like this."

The cylinders are supposed to be paired back two, front two. If your manifold isn't equall length, you are negating the purpose of going twin scroll.
An easy way to do it is get a header that pairs the proper cylinders and keeps them split untill right before hte turbo. Then you can chop it off right before the turbo and make it a tru twin scroll.
Kind of like this

Ya tis my buddies setup, twin scroll GT3076R. Its been shelved for experimentation with GT3782 VNT from a '06 powerstroke. Can you say launching on 20psi with an auto
But anyways, he just used a $250 "split pulse equal length" or whatever the hell they sell them as on ebay. Chopped the subaru flange off and had at it. It worked really well too. Hard to argue with about $300 total investment into the manifold/uppipe setup.

There's a guy a few miles from me that has an 11-second Honda.

Hmmm, I was thinking of going twin-scroll. But from what you guys are describing, it seems like I'll be shelving that idea.
Last week I drove a Legacy GT with a twin scroll. Wow! Gobs of power! VERY driveable in city streets. Has about 325 awhp and about 350 awtq.

but then again i realised that his car was gutted and i still had my full interior plus about 180 pounds of tools in the back.
