Hey guys, I was wondering what kind of alignmenst everyone was running on their cars for auto-x, track days, and even just for daily driving. Any info you have on camber, caster, toe in/out, etc. is greatly appreciated!

Thanks a lot guys!

I usually run -1 degree of camber all the way around and 0 toe for everyday driving.

For the track this weekend, I am gonna try -2.5 or -3 degrees of camber all the way around.

I run -2 camber front, -1 rear

0 toe...

Helped take care of the understeer problem pretty well

-1.3 front camber
-1.5 rear camber
0 toe.

It's maxed out all around and I wish I had more like -2 degrees up front.

555BCTurbo- How did you achieve your camber settings? Specifically the front.

You will mostly likely have to do your own front camber. Jamal, correct me if I'm wrong, but max camber is like -1.5 right?

I run into two problems at alignment shops:

1) The tech is too incompetent to understand that the top bolt is an eccentric bolt, even though it doesn't look like one
2) They will refuse to deliberately set the alignment out-of-spec

So, because of that, I'm running roughly 0 camber up front and -1 camber in the back. Back camber is because of the WRX springs. I'm too lazy to set my front camber, especially since I'm not doing any autoXing right now.

Once I get these (%@#$^&* wheel bearings done AGAIN, I'll just do my own alignment at my dealership.

Went to Schwabbies and told them to set it at -2...

I had to put camber bolts in the back, but I am contemplating removing them...it makes the rear kinda slippery

I just got done aligning mine.

-2.75 up front. I was shooting for -3, but the driver's side ran out of adjustability so I evened them out

-1.75 out back. At around -2, the tires would rub the struts, so I stopped there.

.2 degrees toe out all around.

We'll see how this all works out at Carolina Motorsports Park this sunday.

For the record, I replaced the lower front strut bolts with Ingalls fastcam bolts, and in the rear I replaced the top bolts. I would have done the bottom bolts as well, but they were long enough that they would hit the CV boots.

It's great having an alignment machine at work.

You could always do it by the old strings method. A little time consuming, but will get the job done.

My setup worked pretty well at the track. It didn't push too much until the track warmed up and my tires got a bit too hot.

It seemed that it was wearing pretty evenly across the whole of the tread without rolling onto the sides any.

Now my DD spec is -1.5 degrees camber all around and factory toe (0 front and like .04 or some such nonsense rear).
