think my 94 Turbo Wagon may have a burned exhaust valve.
getting terrible mileage and its a little down on power, but still drives good and no abnormal noises from engine.

I am gonna soon take compression numbers i guess.

btw, car has been like this for a while i just dont drive it much except now.

I would think its that, or else maybe a O2. plugs were last cfhanged about 18-20,000 miles back. maybe i should change them first.

You need to do a compression test. It will take you 15 minutes of relatively easy work to figure out if your assumption is correct.

Does the car shake at idle? If a cylinder is "dead" because of a severly leaking valve it will shake ALOT at idle. (see my thread in the pictures gallery).

sounds like my wagon (n/a), I know the Pass front cylinder is dead and the 2 back cylinders are good, but I haven't pulled the plug wire for the drivers front (hard to get to the coil for that one). It is idling high (around 1500 hot), and if I pull the IAC connector it drops down to 700 and shakes badly.

It is down on power, but still drivable, milage dropped from 23-25 in town down to 20 on the last tank. I'm wondering if I have a bad injector???
