Has anyone got a set of Turn In Concepts fender braces on their car, or for that manner any brand of aftermarket fender brace? Clint doesn't know if they will fit our cars or not. The application doesn't list the gc8 although the source where I found out about them was 25rs.com and I thought they were putting them on a gc8.
If anyone has this type of brace on their car I would like to know what you think of the improvement etc. Thanks.

I've had a set of the TIC fender braces in my '93 LSS for about 2 years now.
they fit perfect, and did tighten up the front end a good deal. Just like most reviews you can read on them.
As a added bonus I also removed ~5lb of old debris from the wheel wells when I installed them
Let Clint know that they do in fact fit if you are in contact with him

Clint told me I was the first to inquire whether they fit the early Legacy. I kind of had an idea there were others out there. Maybe Clint just forgot.

I am working on a set right now. They should be in production next month with a write up and description with pictures. They are coming!

I have STB and the under chassis cross brace, so I wonder if I'd notice any improvement?...
D, please do post pics and write up. Reviews section material?
Good question, thanks for posting.

Any extra rigidity should be noticed. I would assume that it would help that much better if you have the under brace & STB. I'm sure you'd notice some decent early turn in with that set up.
Heck, with my fenders off right now, I should look at removing my stockers & having something thicker & stronger made locally to replace them.

I just cant "picture" the car flexing there.
There's lots of braces that can't really be proven to do much since it's pretty subjective. And my car already rides like a stage coach <grin>
That said I've got a soft spot for bracing of any kind.
Love those RS trunk braces - why I'd need a stiff trunk is beyond me.
Cheers!

I think the reason you can't 'see' the chassis flexing there is also because its a lateral torsion flex, something as a result of the movement of the chassis. . .? Is that right?
I've also no doubt that the chassis moves side to side under normal turning maneuvers, but the flex from accel/braking is something worthy of addressing.
