Cat vs. no cat, dyno chart attached!

Hey Boyz and Gals,
I did the "pipe-swap" I talked abt earlier, and ran
the car on the dyno before and after... here are the
result!
First, remember that my exhaust was not a standard one
to begin with, it was standard all the way to the
muffler, from where it was modified from 2" to 2.5"
with a Simons muffler. So these figures are not
entirely compatible to a completely standard pipe.
Another thing, when we tested the car abt six months
ago, I had a JR performance drop-in air filter on it,
and now I had a stock filter (due to a "misfortune"
with the MAF...). The conditions might have been
slightly different, but I won't invest my money in a
performance filter like that again, my car had 0.8kW
more power now than with the JR filter!
Anyway, here are the figures you're all waiting for:
with my "original" pipe, 173kW/235HP, and after
switching to the 2.5" pipe with no cat....
192.2kW/261HP!!!!!!!!!
It feels like driving a completely different car!
Unfortunately the dyno chart is a b/w sheet, but I'll
put it on my website in color when I get it modified,
then the different runs will be easier to see...
cheers (with a smile up to my eeears!!!),

Miguelito
