Ok first off all i hate wiring so any help would be much appreicated
why is the #5 male clip connected to its self and not to the male clip below it? it the for the a/c
And just because its in the same picture
what the heck is #6?

connect the 2 together and turn on the car, see what light comes on, that will tell you what its for. Looks like someone put a jumper wire in there to disable a warning light of some kind.

If it's connected to the AC system, it's most likely a pressure switch that someone bypassed to keep the compressor running even if the freon pressure is low or the switch went bad.
#6 is your blinker fluid resevoir

6 is the steering wheel fresh water coolant high temp warning alarm. Keeps the steering wheel cool in summer. Or, I don't know, but somebody does.

#6 is the vacuum pump for the cruise control. If you follow the line it goes across the back of the firewall to the actuator/diaphragm that is connected to the cc throttle cable.

Are you talking about the connector?
It looks like it's for the pressure sensor on the receiver dryer. If so, yes it should be plugged back in.
