so guys i was wondering what should our SS' be idling at because mine idles at about 500-700rpms.

That sounds right. Mine hangs around 625rpm when it's warm. On my old NA it'd sit around 550.

ok thanks because i know alot of the other cars well my 93 accord, and 77 280z idled around 1 grand but thanks anyway!!!

Ok, I agree on the around 500rpm bit but what about when it initially starts up at say about 70 degrees air temp where do you sit and how long does it take you to idle down to the standard?

Are you reading the tachometer properly? The line you think is 500 may actually be the 750 mark...

Um...I did not post that. It was my evil and even more stupid twin.
