I was just wondering. because it seems like the ticking noise I hear isn't the lifters and it's the coil pack, because when I hit it, it goes away, but then comes back after a few seconds. Car could be more responsive to. Just the damn connector, she won't come undone, wanted to see if the contacts were dirty, now it seems like they are rusted solid. I tried grabbing them with two pliers and squeezed the connector. Anyone else have this issue?

try using a straight pick to press the tab, and a flathead screwdriver to gently pry it off.

When you get them off try putting some dialectric grease in there... it'll act as an anti-seize as well as keeping moisture away.

Its been a while & I'm getting old, but I remember having to pull UP on the tab (the Engine-harness side of the connector (not the side that is attached to the coil-pack)) to get the connector undone.

BXSS is right. you have to pull the tap up. not press down. its a weird connector.

Almost all of the connectors are that way. I broke a few before I realized how easy it actually is to unhook them.

At least they aren't like chryslers, and have a lock in the clip that you can't see because they put the connector all the way in the back attached to a 2 foot long coil pack that can't be removed until you undo that connector.......
