well this is for the old school of pepole on this fourm, i got them done and tell me what you think.

the lower HP and torque was my 13.0 sec run in my baby. i am busy this week but i want to run it agian at the track with my new found power hehehe.

lower power was 15psi and tapperd of to 17psi

new power is a wopping 19psi and hits 21psi

the shit is so fast, and we all know is going to blow up soon LOL.

motor is

ej22t stock with about 250,000kms
ej20g heads all stock
ej20k intake manifold
evo III 16G
aps monster intercooler
aps no cats exhuste
sti 550cc injectors
and meth is spraying it to

shit is strong and i say 12.4 or 5 if i go crazy!!

also car dies at 6500rpm cuz of heads, i cant wiat to build my crazy motor with ej20k heads it revs to 8000rpm

Hmmm...so you are making like 305 crank hp...not bad at all!

you like it nick, its nothing fancy but my car is so light that it moves like a bullet.

i am going to run it a couple times at the track when i can, hope i hit a 12.something and then they will kick me off for not haveing a helmet and call it a very good daily driver motor.

With a 2.2, 16g, meth, and a big catless exhaust, shouldn't you be closer to 300whp?

So do those heads really suck compared to 2.0wrx heads or what?

What kinda AFRs are you seeing at full boost?

If it is too rich, there is a BUNCH of hp that can be picked up!

If you do the calcs, 550's aren't really good for much more then he's running....and that's probably on the higher side.

Plus there's always dyno variability.

yup the sti 550cc injectors are getting maxed out on the high side for sure.

also my afrs are set in the low 11.5 section but then meth will kick in and it hits 10

why you guys think i should have more power? i know it looks like there is not that much but when i hit the track will see a diffrent story.

if i ran 13.flat and you didnt know i had only 230hp would you think thats all i had or i would think i would have more power?

i think its perfect i also save gas and everything in the motor is stock so i dont want to blow it up just yet.

also i think if i had a top mount ic and cats the power would go up becuse it spool alot faster and take of a bit better?

how do you guys like the power curve is it good, i am new at this so i dont know waht to look for i just see lines and a number.

driving it is a diffrent story its really fast.

I didn't even think there was a place to dyno your car in Ontario nor a track, then again never really looked either way awesome numbers!

can't you run a little leaner once meth comes on, possibly making more power?

I'm not saying you should be making more, just that it seems like you could.

ericem: there is a alot of pepole in ontario who have dynos and tune cars. so far i found like 10pepole that do it.

jamal: i guess i could do it, i really dont know how to tune but i am getting the hang of it my self, next i need is a dyno in my backyard to test it on hehehe.

the best thing about my car is anyone can tune my car? i have a J&s safeguard, i can tell if they are good or not if my light comes on in the safeguard. shit even i tuned it a while back just to try and i did pretty good.

i can lean it out a little see what happens if it starts to knock then i will put it back.

ah okay that explains a lot. I thought the dyno run was associated with a protune.

If you can find someone to tune the car for you, I'd expect to see more power while maintaining a safe tune. Generally with meth you can use like 20% less fuel at full boost.

whats a protune?

i have a autronic, but i drive my car every day i want it to be safe and fast all in one.

having a professional tuner tune the car for you on a dyno.

They'll adjust the fuel, timing, boost, and meth so the motor runs more efficiently and safely, which generally also means more power.

I'm no expert on the subject, but a 10:1 afr with meth (or without) is WAYYY too rich, and I'd almost expect the car to be bogging and spraying black smoke and fire.

I guess you should change your sig at the very least

o ok i got you, a tunner did tune the car.

but i dont have these symptoms at all, no bogging no black smoke or fire out the rear end.

car runs perfect like a charm, you got to remmber that when they tune it i have the J&S and if it does not have the right amount of fule the light will come on. if the light does come on we add a little fule to make sure there is no knock and light at all.

J&S is the bomb for me, i dont stick to one tunner becuse they are all diffrent. i like to see what other pepole point of views are.

i have AFR meters, aem & lm1 in my car, i have egt, and the best J&S safe guard. my car is a pice of cake for a tuner, and my shit is all in order and if there is a problem i just say dont touch it and i am out.

OK Nico, I am gonna flip you some shit.

For all your boasting, you aint got shit.

Get it tuned right you will have some bragging numbers.

The dyno numbers go up well, then damn it tapers off horribly.

Get it to at least hold constant to redline, then you will have a fun car.

TUNE IT!

from what I've seen in "proven power bragging" (... on nasioc, ahem), those injectors on a 2.0 wrx with a similar turbo and exhaust are good for like 300whp. Anyway I'll see what our tuner thinks about it tomorrow.

And yeah, it's kind of hard not to give you shit with this going on:

Nico do you know what stock STi's put down on the dyno you were on?

The Torque looks low for alky being on & you should be able to run leaner AFRs (around 12+:1) + more timing with the alky spraying than you would normally.
As the Alky sprays trim fueling so AFR's are where you want them to be.
I'd expect TQ numbers in the 320-350ish range for a 2.2 on alky @ moderate boost levels (not @ 29psi)...

You should be able to squeeze alot more power out of the stuff you have.

douglas vincent: lol im trying im trying, its not as easy as you think. where is a good place for me to get it done?

jamal: thats my other motor, this is a basic motor. but i want to see what your tunner says, i dont know maybe it has a bit more power in it.

BXSS: i seen one graph with a guy wit a 04 sti stage 2 ots cobb map make 309hp and 320torque, does it sound right?

the more i think about all this tuning shit! the more i get a head ake. its pissing me of that i spent all this time fixing my car and building it and i am so help less to the hands of pepole that tune cars. i dont know any more what to do, soon i am going to say fuck it and go get a ferrari.

Yeah, our tuner would expect somewhere between 300-320whp with your setup. It's definitely going way too rich once the meth and boost come on and that's why the power drops off the way it does. HP should keep increasing closer to redline.

well i tried leaning out a bit at a time and no good. the egts get to hot and the car feels like it gets a little slower.

maybe thats all shes got, i tell you this i think its just a basic set up and eveything is to small like the turbo and the heads dont flow as good as my ej20k ones do.

hitting the track to see what numbers i hit this time, hope i get in to the 12s

OMG! I never thought I'd see the day that you would post up a dyno sheet. My faith has now been restored.

LOL i shocked my self as well, i tried last motor set up to get one so hard for you guys but no luck. o well it blew up anyways but it sure was faster then this set up.

next motor and more dyno papers and q mile numbers to come hehehe.

Nico, i got a really dumb question for ya.
What grade feul are you running on a daily basis and when you put your car on the dyno, did they run your car on pump gas or did they tune on c16 race fuel?

in canada we have sunoco 94 octane 10 or 15 % ethanol, i use it all the time nothing else.
