Hey everyone, i just picked up a '91 turbo legacy sedan, and am wanting to install a boost gauge. I bought a manual boost gauge, and i can see that i just put the "t" splitter into a vacuum line. However, im unsure as to which vacuum line i install it in to see my turbos boost ? thanks for the help

Welcome to the best car forum ever, keep an open mind and take the time to read things thru and you will find this site to be a true trove of information.
Do a quick search thru the faqs:
http://legacycentral.org/library/boost.htm
As to mounting......I used a band clamp, screwed to the steering column cover, centered on the tach, the whole thing painted black. There are countless other options available for you. You really should search a bit more, this topic has been done to death.
edit) If you need pics or anything, let me know! Good luck and congrats on a great acquisition.

Yeah, I can put up a pic for you......however, if you can look at the car a second Ill guide you. I dont know your knowledge so dont get bent if this is too simple.
Pop the hood and locate your intake plenum, this piece is what feeds the air from your throttle body (TB) to the top end of the engine.
You will see two (2) "runners" on the left side (passenger side) and from one of these runners (the forward runner I think) a vacuum line running to the left towards your airbox. TAP/T into this line and you will have the best source for your vac/boost readings.
As a suggestion, you can also pick up some vac hose, slice it down the middle, and use it as a cover to shield the nylon hose feeding your gauge.

Thanks so much for the help new. So its this line right ? Should i go on the side of the existing "t" closest to the intake manifold, or closest to the air box. (to right or left of existing T in that line, in reference to my drawing circled)

Any line coming from the throttle body between the throttle plate and intake valves will technically work but yes thats the line.
