Is the bar specifically for a non-turbo car? If not, it will probably hit the exhaust manifolds.

If it fits you use the existing bolts.

You can try it, but it probably will interfere with the exhaust.

There is no real way to make it fit, as the exhaust will ALWAYS be in the way.

Sadly, this is why this part is only for the turbo cars.

At this point, you could modify the part to make it fit, but then you lose a large part of the rigidity- and that is the whole reason for the part.

I really don't see a way to re-route the exhaust to make the part fit.

I Put the one on our SS up on the lower side of our 01 RS and I know what you are looking at.

Sadly, I would suggest selling it here and taking the loss as a learning experience.

( and research more BEFORE you buy parts)

Change the crossmember and exhaust to turbo exhaust manifold and have a custom exhaust put in place of the turbo. Or swap in the turbo stuff altogether.

You know what I did see on the newer cars is that the n/a exhaust header is routed like the turbo header around the front of the engine. You can kind of see it in these pics

All of this money for a $90 part. It can be made to fit, but is it cost effective?

About the stripped bolt, get a impact and pry on the bolt at the same time while you unscrew it.

Why'd you take the bolt out?

I early on picked up a few parts that would not fit. I made that error a few times. But I learned to READ UP quite a bit BEFORE I buy parts.

I hope your front sway bar is for a NON-Turbo, as they ALSO are very different.

Hey if you have a perfectly useless turbo underbrace just laying around ...........I could find a new home for it!
