Hello, I have a '92 w/ EJ22 NA . I have a code 32 defective 02 sensor light triggered. I replaced the sensor w/ a cheap one I found online, and the light still came on. I went and bought a Bosch unit, installed that, and the same thing. The car runs like crap. It won't stay running till it's warmed up a bit, like a minute or so, and after it stays running, the idle varies. When driving, it stutters and misses unless it's nearly wide open. After reading a bunch of posts, I went and replaced the water temp sensor, which made no difference. I checked the MAF voltage output, which seems to be within specified range. I have 12Vdc and ground to the 02 sensor, and continuity from the 02 sensor signal wire to the ECU. I'm stumped. Anybody have any ideas?
Thanks!

Do the sensors you've bought come with the connector, or are they spliced into the existing connector?
Have you tried resetting the ECU? If not, do that. Instructions are on my site

Resetting the ECU would be vital. I'm looking forward to this turning out okay, I need a new O2 soon too I think...

The first sensor I bought did not have the connector, so I spliced in my old one, taking care to get the wiring correct. . The Bosch sensor I bought had the correct connector. I tried resetting the ECU, which seemed to work fine. The code for 02 sensor came on minutes after clearing the ECU. Are leaky O-rings on the injectors problematic, and could they be the culprit? There's a place near where I live that rebuilds injectors for $18 each, which seems like a good deal. [I don't have much experience working on FI vehicles.]
Thanks!
