so its been raining the past few days here in oregon, and ive discovered a small leak in my car, the water seems to come from where the headliner meets the windshield, is there anyway i can stop the leaking? i was thinkin just grab some silicone and shoot it up under it, but then i was thinkin possible mold issues with that.

It's probably your sunroof. Either the drains are plugged, or the silicone between the sunroof chassis & car body is degraded.

It is probably the sunroof. For the sunroof drains, open the two from doors because sometimes the weather molding on the doors can cover up the front sunroof drains and with lots of rain the water can back up, this is what caused mine to leak.

Also, look in the car jack compartment in the side of your trunk, see if there's water in there too. Inside of the two rear quarter panels is where the rear sunroof drains go, and in my car these were plugged with rubber stoppers at the bottom, I had to remove them.

After you've checked these, open the sunroof and blow the drain holes out (you can only reach the front two) with an air gun, or a high pressure attachment on a garden hose.
