Are the interiors of the turbo legacies all the same color? I am under the impression the plastic trim is black. Is that the case, or is it gray?

I believe that '91, '92 and '93-'94 all have different shades.

The '93-'94 are basically black.

The '93-94 is almost black, but not quite. The seats are black with center insert, except where it gets faded to a blue by the sun on the top of the rear seat.

Personally I like the '93-94 interior better myself. I'm not a fan of the suede-like seats of the earlier ones.

Here's a crappy pic I have of part of the front seat

Thanks for the info guys.

I just looked through the parts book, and yeah, 93-94 is the only year where the plastic trim is black. I'm really only concerned with the plastic trim.

Anyone have any ideas whether the 93-94 black plastic trim around the rear triangle window, b pillar trim, & a pillar trim would fit the 90-91 MY's?

Here's a general pic of the '93-'94 "tweed" seats and door panels.

And one to give you an idea of the color. '93-'94 also.

One more '93-'94

I'm guessing, yes.

What I do when I'm not sure is go to the local U-Pull-It type of yard and do some expirimental surgery.

all the plastic interior stuff will fit, i have a complete 94SS interior in my 90. all the plastic is the same, just a way better color. the only difference is the pocket that sits under the radio, on the 93-94 its WAY less of a pocket because the airbag computer sits below it. on the 92TW they got the big pocket in black because they have no airbags

Thanks guys.

PhyrraM, in your pics, do you have any gray on the interior? The pictures look kind of like gray in certain spots.

Nope, prolly dust. The car was sitting a while when those pics were snapped. The '93-'94 Turbo interior is pretty much all monotone black, with just that tweed pattern on the seats and doorpanels to break it up. The headliner, in traditional Japanese fashion, is lighter but the pillars are black.

One thing I noticed, if your not aware yet, is that the post-facelift center console opens fore-and-aft. The pre-facelift opens side-to-side.

The 91 upholstery is like a plush light Gray, and the plastic components are a darker gray as well. The triangles on the doors are black though, basically the only plastic that is that color, kind of odd.

Same color tan? Is it in a 90-91 Legacy, or in your 93?

If you happened to have the tan trim & manual belts, I'd definitely buy it from you! Let me know.

So is my car some kind of freak? It's a 93' but it has the older style Interior w/o airbags.
