96 GT Wagon vs. 97-99?

Shopping for a car for my wife. Found a 96 GT wagon that has me confused, I was hoping someone could help clear this up for me. It's my understanding that the 96 GT looks different from the 97-99. Different bumper cover, foglights, 15 inch wheels instead of the later 16's, so on. So this 96 I found looks just like the later ones, ran the VIN on autocheck and it is indeed a 96, and where autocheck would normally indicate if it was a GT, Outback, or whatever, it says body type unspecified. So did they make both kinds of GT in 1996 or am I way off on what I think I know about these cars?

Figured it out. The ad was for a 96 outback but had pictures of a 97-99 GT that had been sold. Dealer error.
