Replacing Spoiler LEDs

Post by Subaru_Nation555 »

A significant amount of the LED lights on my spoiler no longer work or are very dim. How would I go about replacing them. I assume I'd need to replace the whole lighting unit? Any thoughts? Thanks.

I have a hard time believing that the LED's died. Those thinks have like 100,000 hr. lifespans. Have you removed the light assembly and checked for cold solder joints?

If they really are bad, you could probably replace them if you have electronics experience. Desolder and resolder! I used to have a spare board around, maybe I can find it for you.
